Hi,
I've been looking through some of the classes in the PEAR collection. I've
noticed some extend the base PEAR class, where as others just include it and
then access it statically.
What is the point in extending your class from the base PEAR class?
I was just going to use it to keep error handling standard between my own
code and some of the classes being used from PEAR.
The documentation for the error handling is a bit sparce - I know there is
info in the source code comments, but its nicer to have it all in one place,
ie. http://pear.php.net !
Regards,
