Hi All,
Can anybody tell me if the SOAP documentation @ pear.php.net is out of date?
It mentions that to create a SOAP client you instantiate an instance of the
SoapObject class?
Yet in the examples I've read over the past few months its told me to do
something like
$soapclient = new SOAP_Client(<url to server php script>);
However the on-line documentation doesn't mention anything about such a
SOAP_Client class!?!
Next up, the documentation within the sourcecode comments doesn't match up
in places :-/
In SOAP/Client.php for the SOAP_Client::call method it mentions 3 parameters
for input. Yet the actual function specified 4, 2 of which do not match the
@param comments above it (!) All I wanted to do was specify some values for
non-existent "options" parameter.
Lastly, does anybody have any example code which demonstrates the function
overloading to do away with using the SOAP client call() method and instead
use the 'proper' method names of the webservice on the client side?
Right, that's my rant over with. I still don't know what to do though
:-(
Regards,
