go-pear install on windows?

All,
I have gotten the "go-pear" script to run and install Pear. However, the
"pear.bat" file still has the @foo@ default values in it, and I'm trying to
put in the correct values for the "pear.bat" command to run successfully.
Here is what my attempt looks like:
set PHP_BIN=C:\PHP\php-4.3.0\cli\php.exe
set BIN_DIR=C:\PHP
set PEAR_PATH=C:\PHP\pear
PHP is installed in C:\PHP\php-4.3.0, PEAR is installed in C:\PHP\pear, and
I keep getting the error message "Could not open input file: C:\PHP\pear".
Does anyone have any helpful hints for me? :)
