Hi, nice to read you again. I am onLoad (IRC)
Any tips for getting pear up and running on unix with php 4.3.0 ? On your linux-console type this :lynx -source http://go-pear.org | php You must have installed lynx(a text based browser) to do this. Then answer the questions of the downloaded script. Question 3 is very important. Here you type in the path which the include_path in your php.ini shows to. On my system (Suse 8.1)it is /usr/share/php . Then the script starts downloading and installing the PEAR base-packages. That's all.
