Guys, we have to start thinking that our users need a good wrapper :-)

John, compare file sizes isn't a very profesional way for analyzing
software ;-). Both mysql and oci8 have implemented the following
features:
simpleQuery, numCols, numRows, errorNative, prepare/execute, sequences,
affectedRows, fetch modes, transactions, quoting, error mapping, plus
the get*() family methods and the marvellouse automatic Pear error
handling. Features that probably are more than sufficient in common
developments. Also the well designed patterns and the Quick start guide
gives one the ability to learn and start working with the class in less
than 20 mins.
But damm, what is our marketing department doing? :-p
People have choices, that's the best thing.
