I highly recommend to use the MSSQL extension instead of Sybase. Doing
so will prevent some compatibility issues from haunting you. If you´re
running Windows, this is no problem. If you´re on Linux, the MSSQL
extension will only work from PHP 4.3.0 onwards.
Remember that you also need FreeTDS if you´re connecting to MSSQL from a
Linux box.
