Hi everyone
I found the answer to my previous question by accident - to make sure you
can insert the record you need to turn off this setting in DataObjects.ini:
debug_ignore_updates = 0
; behaviour changed in > 0.10 so that you have to manually
turn of updates
; rather than it automatically being done by setting debug to > 1
Turning this off from a default of 2 will let you insert records.
I found somebody saying something similar in an old archive but that's how
you do it if there's anyone else out there who missed it (I didn't join the
list til afterwards)
Steve
