Hello,
I uses PEAR::DB since a few days instead of a home made abstraction
layer.
Is there a "best practice" solution to dump the content of the database,
create the database and fill the database ?
Actually, I use my "old" system that is very DB dependant :
- DB dump : mysqldump
- DB fill : mysql
- DB creation : mysqladmin
All this is encapsulated in a class but, I don't want to write all the
methods depending on the DB we want to support (different type, different commands,
...).
What is the recommended PEAR solution to do those actions in a
DB-independent way ?
Ben
