I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this question, but does
anyone know of a good Windows IDE which uses/facilitates
PHP/Pear/Database development? I use PHPEdit, but I'm not crazy about
it. It also doesn't have (or I don't know about) any pear modules.
Other ones I've seen, such as PHPEd, seem good, but are too expensive
and don't even have trial versions to know if they are worth it. I
think someone (with far more talent than I alone) should be able to
port/copy some of the Java IDEs or possibly abstract them into language
independence.
I would specifically be interested in:
DB interface (similar to MySQL Control Centre)
DataObjects / ClassBuilder GUI
QuickForms GUI
Does anyone know where I might find something that fits this
description? Are there any Pear plans for such a thing?
PS. It might also be interesting to see a web based IDE (now I'm
dreaming I know).
