Pear's DB was NOT the problem. After pulling my hair for three days, I
found the problem on a function I use.
It's so strange. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what is
happening and just when I ask for help, the solution comes 10 minutes later.
It's also friday, so, you know, no work related pain thoughts this weekend
