My guess is that the require_once statements is being unable to include
DB.php
Try:
<?php
print("I live<br/>");
require_once("DB.php");
print("Then I exist<br/>");
?>
The second print should not appear if PHP is unable to find DB.php.

Hello,
after I installed Pear, I tried to make run the following little
Example,
but I got only a white screen in my windows explorer, no error-message,
nothing.
The configuration must be correct: include_path in the php.ini and
"extension=php_domxml.dll" is activated.
Anybody has an idea, what's missing here?
