Hi there,
I've been using the PEAR DB libs for a while now and I have just come across a
problem. Does anyone know how PEAR deals with LOBS (or more specifically
CLOBS) in Oracle?
I have noticed that when I try and insert data into a CLOB field I can only
insert upto 4000 characters. Prepared statements also fail.
The only work around I have seen so far is to use the OCI calls directly. But
this then makes coding for multi platforms and databases a hassle.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem?
