pear install Log fails. Why?

I just installed pear on a Win2K server machine so that I could use IMP. I
had no trouble using it to install the Net_SMTP package, but when I tried to
install the Log package I received the following error:
C:\php>pear install Log
Invalid checksum : 43641 calculated, 194 expected
I can't use IMP without this package, and I didn't have a problem installing
this package a few weeks ago on my WinXP Pro desktop. Any idea of what may
be happening here?
BTW, I'm using PHP 4.3.1.
