After running the lynx-based installer for the package manager as
documented at:
<URL:http://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.getting.php>
I end up with a ~/bin/pear that has as the first line:
#!/bin/shd include_path=/tmp/blah_test/share/pear
For fairly obvious reasons (to me anyway) running "pear" fails since
"/bin/shd" is a binary that is non-existant on my boxes. Is there a bug
in the current installer, did someone forget to document an installation
requirement, or am I simply dense?
I searched through the list archives and docs and found no references to
"shd" let alone any clear installation requirements that gave me a clue as
to what my environment may be missing.
Thanks,
-jr
