RE: [PEAR] imagick compilation

Hi, I was having this problem a while ago - and finally found the solution like 2 days ago. If you watch closely during your ./configure -- it'll show the version of imagick that gets picked up. Most likely it's picking up an old (read "ancient") version. AFAIK - imagick 0.9.5 for PHP requires the absolute latest version of ImageMagick libraries to work. What I did to fix: updatedb locate agick > files_to_kill Delete EVERYHING with the letters "agick" in them, in relation to ImageMagick Reinstall latest Image Magick libraries from source. Recompile PHP. Hope this works for you, too!
