My personal variation of that plan is:
Make MDB flexible enough that Alan forgets about DB_DataObjects.
A lot of this has to do with making the manager more flexible in regards
to datatype choices by the developer and making it possible that the
manager can output SQL instead of executing it directly.
At the same time I generally want to make the portability features in
MDB more optional sort of in the spirit of the "performance" and
"portability" option of DB.
