QuickForm problems.

Unless I've made a stupid mistake somewhere, it appears that you can't
use Quickform if the page you want to pick up the values from uses a GET
string, since during the building of the form a page with a path such as
example.com/page=bob§ion=4 will be converted to
...bob&section=4, due to the use of htmlspecialchars in the
attribute fetching.
Does anyone know a way around this?
