Hi everybody
I'm using QuickForm for a Guestbook application at my website. It has support for graphical smilies in the sense that the text-smilies in the message is converted to graphical smilies when viewing the message normally. I would like to be able to offer the user a preview of his/her message before finally submitting the message!
All in all something like the follwing functionality:
if !form_validate
show_form with "Preview message" and "Submit message" submit buttons
else
if preview
show preview of the message with "Modify message" and "Submit message" buttonselse
process messageendif endif And the following connections between the different states: "Normal Form" -> "Preview Message" (Through Preview) "Normal Form" -> "Submit Form" (Through Submit) "Preview Message" -> "Normal Form" (Through Modify) "Preview Message" -> "Submit Form" (Through Submit) "Submit Form" -> "Processing" (If validated!) I'm looking for ideas on how to present a preview and being able to go back to the form to modify the message - I have an idea that "freeze()" might help me in this regard, but I haven't used it before! Hope someone can help me. Cheers, Tommy Ipsen
