Hi, I would like to code a new Quickform element : - a simple read-only date field - a button/image to open a small popup displaying a calendar, allowing month and year navigation. Before coding this by myself, I just wanted to know if it has ever been done by one of you.
A while ago someone either on this list or on PHP-DEV (can´t remember anymore) suggested a new Quickform element using Richard Heyes´ DynCalendar element (http://www.phpguru.org/dyncalendar.html) ... a cool idea, but AFAIR this never happened. Well it did happen, I created it but the dyncalendar javascript does not work well in IE for Mac and some other browsers IIRC. Works fine on most modern browsers though (I use it for our intranet), but Bertrand and I decided I should look for some more compatible Javascript out there before putting the element in PEAR. And I still haven't done that, but I will as soon as I have some more free time ;-)
