Hello,
First of all I'd like to thank all you marvelous PHP/PEAR developers
and maintainers. If it wasn't for you, I'd still have a PERL induced
headache.
I used the web installer (go-pear.php) on WinXP, Apache 1.3.27, PHP
4.3.2 RC2. After doing the same on a Win2K a while back, I was very
pleased to see that all of the installation problems were fixed
(everything went where it was supposed to). However, the package
manager does not work. I get the following error at the top of the
page
"XML_RPC_Value: scalar can have only one value"
with the following message as the intended PEAR_Error output
"The package list could not be fetched from the remote server. Please
try again. (Debug info: "0")"
Has anyone else had this trouble? How do I fix it? I have searched
this mailing list without any luck. I know that the package manager is
not a necesity, but it is a nifty tool and I'd like to get it working
if I can.
Thanks,
Dan
