Hi,
(environment: W2K, Apache 1.3, PHP 4.3.1)
I am trying to find an elegant solution to identify the users of an intranet
site. I thought using their regular Windows network username/password would
add the
least burden to the process and I am hoping to use the PEAR::Auth class.
Does someone know of the correct parameters to access the user info in
Active Directory?
I can bind to the LDAP db using:
ldap_bind($ds,'DOMAIN\\username','password') which would indicate that I
have the connection parameters right.
However, I cannot retrieve attributes of that user (such as email). I am
using:
$result_id=ldap_search($ds,
"CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=my_company,DC=local",
"(&(objectClass=posixAccount)(uid=username))")
ldap_search does return a resource, but when passed to ldap_count_entries,
it produces an error.
That is where Auth_Container_LDAP::fetchData is failing as well.
I am looking for some help for the correct settings of the ldap_search
parameters.
Thanks,
Pascal
