Hi,
I already tried to ask this once without response, but maybe somebody
shows up being able to comment on that topic:
Is there a (session and) user data management package
available in PEAR which works like PHPlib?
I understood that there is the much more powerful LiveUser for
authentication purposes, but what about storing session/user data in a
database like it is done in PHPlib?!?
For my sessions I wouldn't need a database container, but for my user data
I prefer to store information in mysql preferably. This is quite nicely
possible with PHPlib and its user4 class which allows to save data in
files as well as in databases.
Since I think it's wise to switch to PEAR completely I certainly miss such
a feature in PEAR. But perhaps I still haven't understood that it already
exists somewhere and just haven't found it because of blindness or
inability to read the PEAR website...
Please help!
