Hi I am a newcomer to PHP (sorry retired COBOL programmer), I am using the Apache webserver to test web pages, I have PHP and MYSQL running on my machine, I ran the go-pear installation from my web server and installed in the root folder of web server, trying to run pear from command line get this error which I don't understand. PHP_PEAR_INSTALL_DIR is not set correctly. Please fix it using your environment variable or modify the default value in pear.bat The current value is: c:\apache\htdocs\PEAR Please help Thanks Marion Hornibrook
