What OS? Installs fine on Solaris in here:
-cut-
#pear install PhpDocumentor
downloading PhpDocumentor-1.2.0a.tgz ...
...done: 2,474,864 bytes
install ok: PhpDocumentor 1.2.0a
-cut-
