Well there was a time where we did not claim it would work at all. Then
there was a time where we said it works for a number of people. Then we
claimed it should work for most. Today I would say the chances of the
pear installer not working as high as any other bug you might encounter.
But Pierre is probably better fit to tell if I am overly bragging here
