That's really more an HTML question than a PEAR question, but it's because you're using GET as the form method.
Just setup your form like this:
$form = new HTML_Quickform
By default Quickform uses the POST method.

The next question.... I have made a QuickForm that lets the user enter a name and a password It validates it against the name and password in a mysql database and i carry on after that if it's ok if ($form->validate()) { $NAME= $_GET[NAME]; $login = GetRowFromDatabase($NAME); $password = $_GET['PASSWORD']; if ($password == $login["Password"]) {// etcetera we can carry on from here} My problem is now that after the form submission the password can be viewed in the browsers url field. something like http://url/test.php?NAME=hello&PASSWORD=world&submit=Login How can I avoid that?
