I have had a thought though and would be interested in getting the views of others about it - perhaps (hopefully) its been done. I am asssuming that one can use any acceptable HTML string in a table data cell withFrankly, your solution looks like reimplementing the stuff that QuickForm is perfectly capable of doing now.HTML_Table. (t/f)using the rendering element function of HTML_QuickForm will give me that string for am element, group of Elements, form, etc?
