Hello,
I´m new to PEAR and also to this conference and I´d like to be sure about
one, maybe trivial, question. Let´s suppose that I would like to use PEAR
classes at webhost, where PEAR is not installed. So if I copy existed
structure of PEAR classes to subdirectory of my web project at that host,
would it work? I made several attempts on my localhost (Windows, Apache
1.3.22, PHP 4.3.2): I copied PEAR to subdirectory - when there wasn't
include_path set in php.ini it didn't work, but when I set include_path in
my scripts by ini_set() to PEAR directory in that subdirectory, I could use
PEAR classes. Is this OK? Can it work like this also at Linux webhosts? I'm
not very familiar with internal PEAR include statements etc.
Thanks,
Lubos
