I can also confirm this behaviour I disabled APC after I kept getting
'Cannot inherit from undefined class' in my applications :(

Subject: [PEAR] possible APC bug
Hi George,
Weird things are happening since I installed PEAR::APC on my box
(Apache/1.3.26 + PHP 4.3.2). Good thing is that it speeds up my code *A
LOT*, bad thing is that I now randomly get errors like this:
Fatal error: Class var_dump: Cannot inherit from undefined class pear in
/pub/www/www2.terena.nl/intranet/dropbox/index.php on line 2
There's nothing wrong with Var_Dump, it has the require_once('PEAR.php')
at the top. Furthermore if I restart Apache and reload the page the
errors are always gone, but sooner or later they seem to pop up again...
Any ideas?
Jeroen
