Wolfram's Auth-1.3.3

Hello Everyone, I am using Wolfram Kriesing's Auth-1.3.3 PEAR package <http://opensource.visionp.biz/index.php?id=62> instead of the current Auth-1.2.0 found in PEAR and I was wondering if others were also using it ? Also was wondering: 1) How would I use/encrypt passwords with the DB container, at the moment it works but the passwords have to be plain text in the DB, also with the File container how are the encrypted passwords generated ? 2) How would I get the current status of Auth, like $a->getStatus() in the other Auth package ? 3) On errors how would I report the error message to the user if my error page is used by other packages as well ? I think Wolfram's Auth class is better than the current Auth available in PEAR as it is more flexible, I was wondering if there were any plans for them to be merged ?
