Hi, 1.Installing PEAR under Windows 2.Installing PEAR packages under Windows 1. Go to your PHP dir and look if there is the 'pear.bat' file (i.e.:c:\php\pear.bat) and the PEAR dir (i.e.: c:\php\pear\) 1.1 My advise for a clean install of PEAR del the files related to pear and all dirs (!!!But backup first!!!) 1.2 Execute this php script in your browser http://go-pear.org, you have to need a php server runing for this! 1.3 All needed packages for PEAR will be downloaded and installed. !! The first config field in the form is the path PEAR will be installed to, so choose (i.e.: c:\php) if you want PEAR installed to the PHP dir. !! 1.4 Put the path where you have installed PEAR in the 'php.ini' under 'include_path' (ie.:c:\php\pear) 1.5 Finished 2.1 You hav to open your MS-Dos console/shell under Win2k. 2.2 Go to your php directory (i.e.: c:\php), or wherever your 'pear.bat' file is located and type 'pear install <package>' (i.e.: pear install mail_mime.tgz) 2.3 Thats it!
