Hi to all, I got a big question. We're writing a PHP framework (MerlinWork http://merlinwork.sourceforge.net) with heavy PEAR use. We've added PEAR I18N support so we're able to print messages in different locales and so on... Our problem is We'd like to automatically configure the database to write out date in locale format, so we do not have to reparse every query or every result set. With postgres we could do: pgsql> SET DATESTYLE = 'European'; but how about other databases? Does PEAR::DB something about this? Does someone know a PEAR package that do this thing for every database? Can DataObject help? Thanks to all for the attenction.
