http_session start problem

hello,
I´m trying to use http_session, so I have created a table 'SESSION' with
columns id, expiry, data of the types specified in sessiondata.sql of docs/,
with id varchar (32) for md5
$session = new HTTP_Session;
$session->setContainer('DB', array('dsn' => $dsnMlecturaSessio,
'table' =>
'SESSION'));
$session->useCookies(true);
$session->start('SessionID');
it seems it goes through setContainer correctly, but it can´t with start.
The message I see is:

c:\php\pear\pear\HTTP\Session\Container\DB.php on line 176

if I open the table SESSION, I can see it´s empty, so it hasn´t written the
new session (it has all grants)
