Hey, I'm trying to setup a pager using Pager_Sliding that instead of using ints uses strings as the page ids... So for example, I have this array of names: $names[0] = "John Doe"; $names[1] = "Davey Shafik"; $names[2] = "Joe Bloggs"; and I want this pager: << John Doe | Davey Shafik | Joe Bloggs >> Is this possible?
I fear not. But if you can elaborate this a bit more, maybe I could understand what you want to do and how you're trying to do it, and give you a better answer. My guess however is that your design decisions could be somewhat different, because you're trying to use a Pager for something it wasn't designed for. Please let me know what you want to do *exactly* (the more details, the better). Best regards, Lorenzo
Lorenzo, What I have is a database with contestants in it, what I want is a slide show of the contestants details, and I want the links to be the contestants names, not their page number/database id. Note that the not all contestants are in every competition and therefore their numbers are not sequential I'm gonna play with the getPageData method, see what I can do :) - Davey
