which webserver are you using?
If it is not an Apache, or one that doesnt define the variable DOCUMENT_ROOT you need to set this variable by hand

Thanks for response. No problem with directory names now, but still no result, I get only this notice: Notice: Undefined index: DOCUMENT_ROOT in c:\php\pear\pear\HTML\Template\Xipe\Main.php on line 304 GZ Tommy Ipsen wrote:-- Wolfram ... opensource @ vision:produktion ... http://opensource.visionp.de ... authentication system .... http://sf.net/projects/authGzelko wrote:I'm trying to use Template Xipe on winos, Xipe is creating compiling directories starting with volume label "c:", ":" is illegal character for directory/filename in winos and creates error. Does someone knows solution?Use something like: $options = array('templateDir' => 'templates', instead of $options = array('templateDir' => dirname(__FILE__), dirname() returns the complete path to your file - including drive letter like c: This is used for creating appropriate template-files but the "c:" part of the file-/dirname is illegal causing an error! Hope this helps Tommy Ipsen
