Auth-1.2: logout does'nt work

I use the last Auth package with PHP version 4.3.2-RC2 on window and the
logout() method seems to work but does'nt:
after a succefull login and a (succesfull?) logout, the user is still
login and getAuth() ist still on true.
I try it too with the exemple from the Auth documentation and the same
problem happens.
After a look in Auth.php , I've checked the logout() method: the
command session_unregister() seems too work too.
I had no chance with the PHP-command session_destroy() too .
Any clues of what's wrong?
