Hello,
I have tried the Benchmark Class on two Systems.
A: Sun Solaris 9 - PHP 4.3.2
B: Linux Redhat9 - PHP 4.2.2
The usage of the class is clear, but on Sun I don't have to call
$func->display() to get the results. If I do it the results will shown
two times. On Linux works it as designed. There I have to call
$func->display() for the results.
May someone has experienced this as well?
Just is this case of Benchmarking. I have compared with my code PEAR::DB
and PEAR::MDB.
On my tests I have seen that MDB is 20% slower then DB just in the
initiation and database connection. Is this normal or does I have such a
strange system?
Cheers
-Peter
