Which version are you using?
The current CVS version and the last release both suffer from at least a
few serious errors that make the package unusable. There is an open bug
report with a patch at least for these errors, but I fear there are
more. Unfortunately the maintainer still hasn't had time to attend to
these bugs.
So if you are interested in this package please have a look at the
following bug report as well:
http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=24559
Please check if you can get the examples to work with that patch, or if
other bugs are also there. If the maintainer is short on time it would
be good to make the fixing as easy as possible :-)
I am really busy atm, but I might be able to spend some more time on
this in a week or so.
