have a read of php-dev - nulls are very messy with PHP.. :) $object->somevalue = 'null'; will translate to = NULL or somevalue IS NULL, when you write/search the database.. - reading from the database is dependant on PEAR's DB layer.. - which in turn I presume depends on the database binding.. Hi, When using dataobject i noticed a weird behaviour, when using toArray or setFrom null values in the database are converted to an empty string. Is it on purpose ? How can i then make a difference with null and an empty string ? Thaks, Arnaud.
