HTML_BBCode reverse parsing

Hi, there is a great package for parsing BBcode, it works good, but one question remains: Is there any possibility to do the parsing in the other direction, means, to transform text with html-tags into text with the appropriate BBCODE-Tags? I think, this is qute essential, because there are many opportunities to work on ordinary html-text by using BBCode. Any ideas are appreciated!
