PEAR Auth, new user data

Is there a way to add a set of user data (team, level, active state, etc) to the authentication object? I thought there must be some generic way to pass in an array with this data so that I can access it via... $myAuth->team; I can do this by adding the fields I need to the package itself, but that seems a bit much. If I need to change this data set, I would have to change the package. Not a good idea. If someone else needs a different set, they should not have to modify the package, just pass in a different array set. Any ides? Thanks Walter
