imagick 0.9.8 compilation

I'm having difficulty getting the imagick package installed. I'm
installing on Red Hat Linux 7.3. I had Red Hat's ImageMagick-5.4.3.11-1
RPM already installed. In order to be able to complile imagick,
I installed Red Hat's ImageMagick-devel-5.4.3.11-1 RPM. This package
places magick.h and other includes into
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/magick/magick/. However, the imagick configure
script appears to looking for them in
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/magick/.
Please advise on the proper incantation to get imagick to find my
ImageMagick header files in the right place.
