If you're looking to just put some kind of heading in the first row of each
column, this is what I found in the docs...create a format, then write the
heading to the column with the format:
$format_bold =& $workbook->addFormat();
$format_bold->setBold();
$worksheet->write(0, 0, 'HEADING Col A', $format_bold);
$worksheet->write(0, 1, 'HEADING Col B', $format_bold);
$worksheet->write(0, 2, 'HEADING Col C', $format_bold);
$worksheet->write(0, 3, 'HEADING Col D', $format_bold);
HTH!
Thanks,
~Rob

Subject: [PEAR] Spreadsheet_Writer_Excel header row
Is there any way to set the column name using Spreadsheet_Writer_Excel?
I would like for the headers to be along the lines of:
First Name | Last Name | Address |etc
as opposed to:
A | B | C | etc
I have read the docs but I can't find anything about setting headers but
there
is a method to get the headers.
Thanks,
-Jackson
