Ok, I can get everything in mail mime to work but error detection. Does this not work? I'd like to know if there is an error or not sending the mail like php's mail() function does. We need to know which ones go through and which dont so they can be cached to try again later. Even when I put in
$mail->send($info_array['firstname'].' '.$info_array['lastname'].'<'.$info_array['email'].'>', $hdrs, $body);
if(!PEAR::isError($mail)){
echo $info_array['firstname'].' '.$info_array['lastname'].' <'.$info_array['email'].'> --- Email Sent<br>';
} else {
echo $info_array['firstname'].' '.$info_array['lastname'].' <'.$info_array['email'].'> --- Email NOT SENT<br>';
echo PEAR_Error::getMessage($mail);
}
and all it does is return false. Even when the email is null or something stupid like .com and thats it. It always returns as if the email was sent. Do you know if there is a problem with PEAR detecting errors from mail mime or am I doing something wrong?
Above that part in the script I do create an object called $mime ala
$mime = new Mail_mime($crlf);
and I have also tried passing $mime into the isError and got the same results. I have tried basically every combination I can think of.
Any thoughts?
