Hi there,
to anyone who's having trouble starting with PhpDocumentor:
I've just noticed, that the shell script of PhpDocumentor installed in /usr/bin/phpdoc contains WINDOWS LINE BREAKS (\r\n). On my redhat linux the bash shell has troubles with the first line which speficies the interpreter for the shell script: !#/usr/bin/php \r\n - here the \r character caused the following errors:
: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
You should therefore simply convert the line breaks to unix with:
dos2unix /usr/bin/phpdoc
Additionally you should add the parameters -Cq to the interpreter line:
#!/usr/bin/php -Cq
this will cause PHP to be silent and not change the current directory to the shell script (/usr/bin).
greethings,
dorgon
