Mail - getting it to work

Hey all,
I am trying to use the PEAR Mail class.
Here is my code:

require 'Mail.php';
$to = 'ckline@rightcode.net';
$headers['From'] = 'ckline@rightcode.net';
$headers['Subject'] = 'Testing';
$body = 'hey it worked';
$params['host'] = 'smtp.rightcode.net';
$message =& Mail::factory('smtp', $params);
$message->send($to, $headers, $body);
?>
I don't get any errors etc., but no mail is sent either.
Any assistance would be great. Thanks.
