Hi!
I would like to have a form with a simple select-Box and a submit button.
Then I want to have a Action which sorts out which form to show next.
The most important part of the main part of the program looks like this:
$main =& new MainForm('Main');
$main->addAction('process', new MainAction());
$form1 =& new Form1('form1');
$form2 =& new Form2('form2');
$controller =& new HTML_QuickForm_Controller('Test', 'false');
$controller->addPage($main);
$controller->addPage($form1);
$controller->addPage($form2);
$controller->addAction('form1', new HTML_QuickForm_Action_Direct());
$controller->addAction('form2', new HTML_QuickForm_Action_Direct());
$controller->run();
The first page has an Action with a switch statement. Doing the following:
$page->controller->handle($page->controller->getPage('form1'),'form1');
Why does the controller not call the process-Action (perform-function) of
$main? It always goes directly to the next page without processing the
first. So I cannot call the Direct-Actions at all.
One question that I could not really answer is: What is the difference
between jump and direct? From the tabbed.php example I guess I need direct.
Or is it not the idea of multipages at all to process each page before going
to the next?
Thanks for our ideas
Daniel
PS.: after looking around on the net I found out that this mailing list is
directly shown on several websites with Emailadresses (changed to foo _<at>_
bar.biz). Whoever knows regex knows that it is just too easy to change that
back. So I am not surprised that I get spam on the account I use for the
mailing list. Maybe this could be changed to omitting the mailadresses on
the net?
