Hi!
I got a question about the mailing list.
Yesterday I accidentally posted a mail from the wrong account which came
right back as the Mail address is not registered. I did not get it in my
pear-list. BUT today by chance I checked the web and found the posting on
several sites.
Now 2 questions:
-who wants the mail addresses on the web? (the "pear()daniu!de" is a joke if
there are lots of mail addresses and I guess not only I am getting spam on
my pear account)
-how come my posting ends up on the website when it does not even find it's
way to the list?
-how is it possible to change behaviors of the mailing list? A poll?
-I got the geeklog-mailing list where they just changed from "no
mail-addresses at all" to "mail-addresses in the list but not on the web"
which I think is a very good compromise ...
Regards
Daniel
