Hi Chris,
you can use tableinfo, if you take simplequery instead of query.

Has anyone had consistent luck using this function? It has been working extremely inconsistently on my application. The problem is fairly localized to this function, if I don't use, my PHP script processes normally, if I do use it, my PHP script redirects to an unknown page. (404-not found). If it is buggy, is there any other mechanism in Pear to get at the meta data on a result set (i.e. a list of fields at a minimum) TIA for any approaches, I'm trying to use it to model a resultset-to-HTML function in my application for quick-and-dirty reporting, etc. I'll be happy to share it when/if it is working reliably Chris Anderson Real World IS
