Correct .. use the optional 4th parameter instead. I have a large table with only varchar columns so that would save a lot of time.it's the 4th parameter to execute()Thanks again. ! as a placeholder does not seem to be supported though - is that right?
One last question (have to make the most from your ultra short response time :-) the docs on backendmedia, are they for MDB 2.x or 1.x? I guess I really should be using the docs on the pear site but not all methods seem to be documented there, the debugging methods for instance. They are for MDB 1.x I simply dont have the time to add docs for all the methods. I am adding some every time someone spots a bug or I have some time. Any help would be greatly appreciated of course. For MDB 2.x I will make use of phpDocumentor for the boring API part. Actually I (or someone else) could do his for MDB 1.x too. Well I have phpDocumentor running? I've never generated PEAR docs though (I've done my own classes just the default output). I heard you can output Docbook XML but that's where my knowledge ends. I would like to help out though, but like yourself I also don't have much time. Jeroen
